"Had the chance to get out on the water in July
(2004) with Alaska Sportfishing Adventures. With Denny as our
guide the outing was excellent and there were several things
that made it that way. I am a fishing fanatic, who eats,
sleeps and breathes fishing. I bombarded Denny with questions
as I was very curious about the Kenai King fishery. Unlike other
guides I've been out with, Denny was more than willing to talk
fishing, sharing a few secrets and providing lots of insight
about what it is like to be out on the river everyday during
King season on the world famous Kenai River. Besides that the
fishing was solid. Denny worked very hard to get us into the
fish, and was as intent on catching fish as my fiancée
and I were. All and all we had 5 take-downs and managed to get
three fish to the boat. We went home with a beautiful 30+ lb.
dime bright chromer. My fiancee and I were married out in NY
just a few short weeks later. We had one half of our King smoked
and took the fillet out east for our wedding guests to enjoy.
Everyone gorged themselves on the fish and listened intently
as we told the story about our inaugural and unbelievable King
charter with Denny and Alaska Sportfishing Adventures. If you
are thinking about a King Charter on the Kenai we would strongly
recommend making Denny and ASFA your charter service of choice!!"

"Fishing on the Kenai River is an adventure everyone
should enjoy!! But what made it a more memorable experience
for us was our fishing expert – Denny, who operates SportsFishing
Adventures near Soldotna, Alaska. His charters left from a pier
on the Kenai River and when he puts his fishing pole in the
water, it just acts as a signal to the rest of the Salmon!!
We all caught fish. They didn't have a chance!! The plane trip
back to the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia was 200
pounds heavier!! The fishing tours on his 20-foot Yamaha powered
river boat are well worth the fee."

"We
were all delighted to receive our package of salmon that we
caught while on our charter with you. Now - I need your recipe
for fixing the salmon for Sat. night as we're having some very
good friends over and want to serve the salmon the way you had
made it for us. I know you said a certain marinade, but I've
forgotten the name of it. It was wonderful. Also, I think you
said to brush it with butter and fresh dill? I will probably
broil it on grill. We think of you and day of fishing often.
That was a great trip. Thank you!"
